COMMUNITY PARTNERS

Community Partners 2018-08-02T01:33:34+00:00

We work collaboratively within our community, creating dynamic partnerships with local non-profits and community minded businesses.

We partner with other nonprofits, who provide storytellers and bring their clients to our programs, helping them access experiences they wouldn’t otherwise be able to experience.

As well, we partner with community minded businesses, who donate valued products and services and lend us everything we need, from equipment to venues.

“This project has attracted a variety of individuals to our space – connecting a wider public audience with the reality of the homeless community and the services being provided by organizations such as ours.”

ANAWIM HOUSE

The SOCI 438 Applied Learning Course at UVIC partners with The Existence Project to provide students with an organizational project / challenge being faced by a non-profit in Victoria. This is an ongoing relationship that has already provided The Existence Project with an incredible Impact Analysis of our programming.

Anawim House is a refuge, a home, a meeting ground, and a source of hope for many of Victoria’s street community. Anawim House provides The Existence Project with temporary office space, fully subsidized workshop space and professional support for all of our workshops.

InFocus Services provides employment opportunities, training and support for people with barriers to employment. They have provided The Existence Project with a permanent downtown office space in their building and have had an employee of theirs participate as a storyteller.
